Well Shot is a mobile game published by James B Hill. Contact: privacy@wellshot.si.
Our own gameplay analytics are anonymous. They use a random install ID created on your device (not your Game Center ID, name, email, or Apple ID) plus gameplay metrics such as modes played, scores, and performance timings, along with app version and build. We do not collect Game Center IDs, IP addresses, precise location, photos, contacts, or microphone audio for our analytics. You can turn our analytics off in Well Shot Settings.
Some games unlock by watching an optional rewarded ad. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested or shown, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect your IP address (which can estimate general location), a device identifier (such as an app-scoped identifier, or the advertising identifier if you allow tracking), advertising data such as ads you've seen, interactions with ads, performance data, and crash logs. Google uses this to deliver, measure, and improve ads and to prevent fraud. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
If Well Shot asks for permission to track (Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt) and you decline, Google will not receive your advertising identifier and ads will be less personalized. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
If you sign in to Game Center, Apple processes scores, leaderboards, achievements, friends, and matchmaking under Apple's terms. Apple also provides standard App Store analytics under its own privacy policy.
To balance gameplay, fix bugs, improve onboarding, and support the free version of the game through ads. We do not sell your personal information.
Well Shot's content is kid-friendly, but the app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Our anonymous events are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or aggregated. Google keeps ad data under its own policies.
We'll update this page and the date above when the policy changes.
